How much does it cost and where can I buy it?


Version 2.0 is shipping now. The cost is $250 for five sensors and the gateway. The monthly subscription is $35. You can purchase here and it will be shipped directly to you.


How anonymous is the system?


HomeEXCEPT only uses the subscribers phone number to link data. The subscriber labels the sensor's so only they and their authorized guests understand who and where is being monitored.


Is there a contract? Can I cancel?


There is no contract and you can cancel anytime.


Can I transfer / sell the hardware if I cancel?


Yes. The hardware and sensors can be reset for a new user.


Can I install this myself? What do I need?


Yes. The system takes minutes to install. All you need is an internet connection or a hotspot with an ethernet port.


Can the system be installed in a facility?


Yes. The system is designed to work in single or multiuser environments. We also support integrations into existing software you are already using.


How is HomeEXCEPT different from a wearable medical alert?

Who monitors the alerts?


You and the people you authorize as guests. When anyone deals with an alert you will see it has been taken care of. Alerts can be delivered on your mobile device or through SMS.


What do I do with an alert?


Depending on the type of alert someone may need to respond to an urgent situation. Alerts also make you aware of important changes to mobility, medications, assists, sleep and toileting. These alerts help to identify and prevent risk.
